Tom Yam~~~

Hehe...yesterday and today also I don't need to go uni coz at the moment there are no lectures or tutorials on these 2 days. I hope it'll stay that way.ahahaha

Last Sunday, I went to eat dinner with my colleagues Ing and Djhune. We already planned since last Monday that we will go try the new Thai restaurant call "Bann Nucha Restaurant" located at The Mall, 2nd Floor (craving for Tom Yam!lol). So we really did went to try and we ordered 4 dishes - Seafood Tom Yam, Pandan Chicken, Deep-fried Squid, and a Deep-fried Fish. We also tried its Thai-style ice-cream coconut flavor!hehe. We were really satisfied and bloated with the food! The Tom Yam there is really...I can say 1 of the BEST in Brunei!!! If you like Thai food or Tom Yam you should really give a try there! The prices are reasonable too and the lady boss there is also very friendly^^

Nice ambience at the restaurant :)

I miss the Tom Yam already! At first when this soup came, we were like asking what soup is it coz the Tom Yam we usually see and eat is like reddish/orange-ish in color? Then when we tried it, the taste of Tom Yam is soo strong, soo nice! The lady boss told us it's their home-made style and so no flavorings all those?hehe.

Yummy Pandan Chicken.

Deep-fried squid with lotsa raw cabbage which tasted really good when you eat both together!

Thai-style ice-cream with pure fresh coconut in the middle and small maize+papaya+yam+jackfruit surrounding it. Mixed together=great! I like it coz it's not that sweet, just average.

Ing has blogged about this in her blog too, so for more pix please visit her blog :)

Today I stayed back with Ing and Jun, and ate dinner with them. Them 2 walked to the Pasar Malam (Night Market) to buy the food. We cooked our own rice so they bought dishes only. We had barbeque chicken, beef rendang (very yummy!), tongkeng (me&Ing don't eat tho!), Kueh Malaya (I sooo long didn't eat already!), and a pancake-like with kaya filling (Ing doesn't know what it's call.haha).
