Angels&Demons

Today went to uni's library again...to return some books and borrowed more books this time.ahaha. I borrowed all the "Sidney Sheldon" novels available in the library coz I like his novels after I read "Bloodline" last week. I'm a sucker for mysteries and suspense kind of novels.hohoho. And I just finished reading "The Best Laid Plans" by Sidney Sheldon and it's good!

I also like Brenda Joyce's novel after I read "The Chase" but so sad the library only has one Brenda Joyce novel. Anyone who has Brenda Joyce novels please lend me yea? :)

I remembered when the movie "Angels&Demons" came out in the cinema here, I was a bit excited and went to watch with Pingie. I didn't even bother reading the sypnosis like I usually do and in the end I asked Pingie "where are the demons?". Yes, I was thinking all along that I can see real demons/monsters in the movie.LOL. The movie was based on the novel of the same author as "Da Vinci Code", Dan Brown. Actually the Angels&Demons novel was the story before Da Vinci Code but they cameout with Da Vinci Code movie first before Angels&Demons.haha. I've read the Angels&Demons novel and it's damn good. It's also quite different from the movie. I'm fascinated most by the "ambigrams" inside. Look at the cover of the novel and you'll see there's an ambigram. Coolness. Anyone has the other novels of Dan Brown please lend me too :)

OK...back to playing Sky Bubbles deluxe. I finished another Forgotten Riddles game that Pingie gave me called the "Mayan Princess". I like Forgotten Riddles games. Hope got more.hehe.

Daddy's Day

Today is Father's Day! I already told my mom that I was going to treat my dad for lunch today but he insisted on paying instead. Thank you daddy!hehe. Today we had a late lunch coz I couldn't wake up as I slept at 6am this morning. I finally get to eat at my favourite Thai restaurant in Jerudong!!! Everytime my parents go there without me.ahaha. I always go to this Thai restaurant when I was still young but I can't remember its name coz it was too long. Now they changed name already so easier to remember.hehe. I haven't been there for quite a long time already so I didn't know they had the whole building to themselves now! Last time they only had 1 unit and was not big. The restaurant was also renovated til' so cafe-like now...very nice the ambience! But the food's taste still remain the same! I love it! Their prices are consider quite cheap.^^

Mini apple

Exam results were out this afternoon and as I expected I didn't register for the exam result sms successfully.lol. Have to thank Evelyn and Wanthin for helping me to check. I was soo nervous due to ACR but it turned out my ACR...I got a "C"?! Unbelievable!!! Seriously coz I really wanted to cry after the ACR exam that day so Thank God! I'm satisfied with my results as it was better than last semester, considering my exam timetable was bad and was busy watching drama during exam period.ahaha. Now I'm relieved~~ ;)

So fast...it's been 2 years already that I work for the company/shop, from Centrepoint to the present location. This coming Sunday would be our 1st anniversary in our new shop location so boss might be doing more promotions.hehe. Eventhough I made mistakes occassionally and didn't always turn up for work during my semester, my boss is still very nice, kind and patient enough to let me stay, and teach me more things. Really have to thank her :)

Our Xmas 2008 dinner at Villa Mauri which we had a great time, not only with the delicious food but also the exchanging&opening of presents and taking pix.^^

The other day my colleague, Flor gave me a mini apple to eat and it's sooo sweet, crunchy and most importantly is CUTE!!!ahaha. I like mini size.lol. I saw it the other day at Soon Lee...got S, M, and L size. It's Fuji apple from South Africa and asked my mom to buy the mini and medium size ones. My mom at first was a bit doubtful coz she never buy this kind before so don't know really nice or not but now she's loving it!ahaha. I eat the mini and she eats the medium one.haha. The mini is 25cents each and medium is 40cents each.

Anyone heard of or remembered the R&B girl band from UK called "ETERNAL"? One of my favourite band during my primary school days. The members were the Bennett sisters Easther and Vernie, Kelle Bryan and Louise Nurding. But I can't seem to remember Louise coz I think when I like them, Louise was no longer in the group.haha. Some of their famous songs are Stay, Don't You Love Me(my most fav.), Angel of Mine, Someday, Just a Step from heaven, Don't Say Goodbye, etc.

Almost a month after my exam and my room still not that organized.lol. The other day supplementary lists were out and was relieved to see that my number's not on it but still now it's a matter or pass or fail. I think the results will only be out next month? This time I don't know if my exam result sms had been registered successfully or not.haha. Last Sunday went to CHMS Fun Fair with Pingie, Siang Yi, and Angela. I finally got to eat the "kolo meehoon" from the school's canteen after a long time!hehe. This time it's not as fun as last time coz' they have much more food and other goods stalls rather than on games. I remembered going to a "Haunted House" in CHMS Fun Fair long time ago.ahaha. After the fun fair we went back to Gadong and went to Mall which Pingie bought something surprising for Lina's birthday gift. *wink*

Pingie borrowed me the "Da Vinci code" novel by Dan Brown which she borrowed from the uni's library. I finished reading the book in about 6 hours til' dawn?haha. It's just too interesting and suspense that I can't wait to know the ending.haha. After reading the book, I watched the "Da Vinci code" movie too, which came out 3 years ago but I think it was banned or something? The movie wasn't as interesting as the book and as usual many parts were cut out but even the story is a bit different towards the end which made me confused!haiz. Don't worry Pingie, I will sure remember to return the book for you coz I need to go borrow some books to read during this holidays since I'm so 'friendless' when you and Lina not here. Have a fun and enjoyable holiday in Kuching and JB my Pinky!!! :)

The other day, colleagues were transferring songs and so happened mostly are old school songs.haha. Anyone still remember the UK boyband called "911" with its members Lee, Jimmy and Simon? hehe. I'm sure most of you will know or ever listen to their songs since their songs were quite popular back then when I was in upper primary school days?ahaha. I bought one of their album in cassette last time. Some of their famous songs include Bodyshakin, Don't Make Me Wait, Love Sensation, The Day We Find Love, Party People...Friday Night, How Do You Want Me To Love You?, and etc.

Korean Navy

Today's date very nice...I started off with a very unlucky noon but later getting better til' at night. First I "holland" myself twice when I wanted to cash out my cheque. I walked back and forth to 2 banks with a very empty stomach til' almost wanted to faint. But in the end I can't get any and so I don't have any money with me as I didn't ask from my dad. I needed money to eat and buy my phone credit coz' my phone got no credit at all. In the end, I called my '911' which is my Pinky to come out and rescue me which she did. JONGMAL KAMSAHAMNIDA!!!! After eating at Ideal, we walked around Mall and bought some stuffs. Then, Lina's sis - Angela came and find us at Mall.We walked alot around Mall and Centrepoint too.

Then many funny things happened before we made friends with 3 Korean Navies. On Thursday, there was a Korean Navy ship stopped at Muara Port which my 'sunsaengnim' got sms me to go if I want but I got not time. There were 1 girl (Yu-jin) and 2 guys (Ji-yin and Young-geun) and they were waiting for bus to go Bandar. Pingie very nice to offer them a ride to Bandar. But on the way, we all decided to bring them to dinner at the Riverside stalls in Bandar (opposite Kg.Ayer?) to let them try some local food. We ordered satays, ketupat, lekor, fried mee and kuey teow, and teh tarik which they said they never tried all those before. hehe. We thought the atmosphere will be a bit awkward but then our convos went well and had fun talking and taking pix with each other.ahaha. My Korean language really not good after not learning for a year already. But it's a good practice for me for talking with Koreans just now.lol. After dinner, they had to go back to Yayasan as their bus was waiting for them there. So we walked with them to Yayasan. They gave us a "1000 won" note with message on it coz they said they didn't bring any Korean souvenirs to show their appreciation. But very unfortunate that we lost the note after awhile? We didn't even know how or where we lost it.haiz. Okie...on to some pix but sorry the pix from mobile were quite dark. After dinner, Pingie brought us back to her new house. We stayed there til' almost midnight and then Pingie sent us back home. Her house very nice!!!
