On Tuesday, celebrated Nick's birthday at the newly open Korean restaurant (Oh yes, you might have guessed it was my  idea  choosing this place) in Rimba-Tungku called "Hadpa Korean Foodcourt", opened by a Korean family. Location...is hard to explain, all I know is opposite the Rimba Agricultural Centre/the place selling flowers? And you have to make a u-turn from Liang Toon if you are coming from Gadong. I actually didn't know it opened in August til' one night when I passed by there to go Pingie's house, I saw this white banner at the roadside there, and the word "Korean Food" definitely caught my eyes!lol. It's a place I wanted to go in long time ago coz I saw the sign 'fishing' but never did. But my chance just came.hehe. The garden place is beautiful esp. during day time! ^.^

Ban Chan(반찬) / Side dishes, I like how their banchans can be refilled everytime for free and I really love the fishcakes!  Yookgaejang(육개장) / Hot and spicy stew, tasted normal..it's hot but not that spicy..goes best with white rice.

Woobokki(우뽂기) / sweet and spicy noodle, I like this but it's really spicy!  Dolsot bibimbap(돌솥 비빔밥)/ Rice mixed with red pepper paste and vegetable in hot stone pot, tasted normal.

Gimbap(김밥) / rice roll with seaweed, the seaweed skins so shiny but yummy!  Pajeon(파전) / Fried pancake with spring onion and squid, not the crispy type coz this one more flour and not much taste.

Jabchae(잡채) / Stir-fried potato noodles with vegetables, I like it!  Mogwacha(모과차) / Quince Tea, nice peachy taste so I likey.

Pine Nuts Tea, tasted like oatmeal.  Sujeonggwa(수정과), helps prevent anaemia and constipation. Tasted like medicine...definitely not my type.

Nick almost got caked! I don't know what's with Marlin&Pingie's expressions coz Lina&Nick very normal.lol. Nick too kamdong/감동 by our cake? He's thinking hard what to wish for. Yay, cut cake!

Hurricane Venus

Annyeong~ I feel so weak today...both my legs so pain coz soaring from yesterday's 10.5km walk. My colleagues all also so tired.lol. People all ran, but I could just walk coz I really can't run or jog, and the night before I only slept for 30 minutes coz I was OT-ing doing the flyers for company. 10.5km look not far but it's really far for me already.haha. Lucky I didn't really get sunburnt this time eventho after the run, we went to Berakas and Muara beach also!hahaha.

Last Monday, had a dinner meet-up with Lina, Marlin, Kuan, Pingie and Changmin at Taurean the Arch. We were planning a birthday prank for Nick since he put us aeroplane that night but the prank didn't go smoothly so we gave up.ahaha. If you happen to see Pingie and Kuan fighting/arguing on Twitter, that's part of our plan for Nick to see but failed.lol.

Lina and I ordered the Horoscope drinks of the month as it's half-price. So we ordered "Leo" and "Lion" drinks. hehe.

My first time receiving a cool "3D postcard" and somemore from the cold place Alaska! Love the postcard coz so cute, the 2 grizzly cubs reminded me of "ElVin" couple only!haha.

Thanx to Pingie, I bought a new keyboard sticker set again, and this time much nicer and cheaper!hehe. Most importantly, it has Korean words too! Eventho my previous one still in good condition, I can't wait but change to this new one coz I like the material better and prettier too.hehe. But when people saw my keyboard, they went crazy coz so colourful.ahaha.

Yesterday was the Standard Chartered Charity Run and I went out the whole day, seriously so tired! Thanx to boss who picked me up early morning and sent me home at night.^^ After the run, we went to Berakas and Muara beach. Then we went to boss house to swim. As usual I still failed in trying to learn how to swim..I still can't float properly!Oh my...I want Eli as my coach!haha. I was too tired til' I fell asleep for a few hours at boss house.lol.

I was the last to finish along with 2 other girls~ Rachel and Abigail. We were laughing along the way back.ahaha. I almost want to give up halfway the run coz was really tired and sleepy, but when I thought that this was for my dear ELI, I must finish it no matter I run or walk. I felt satisfy after I'd completed and got the certificate. ♥라이야 이거 니꺼야!♥

So random but you can ride on horses at Berakas beach. I heard it's FOC and I wonder did they ride the horses there all the way from Jerudong Park?ahaha. Muara beach is getting nicer and nicer, so many people that day! Go there cycling is shiok! Anyone has a small bicycle to borrow me?hehe. That cute and fat cat is my boss' cat named "Oscar".  It suddenly just appeared beside my legs and gave me a shock!haha.. the cat is big!lol.

BoA is back!!! She's finally back in Korea with a new album after long 4 years! I'm happy for her! I'm following her on Twitter too^^ She's now promoting her title song "Hurricane Venus" with a mature but still pretty image. As expected, her live is still as amazing as ever, and the charisma she gave out on stage! 보아 언니 대박! 화이팅! :)

Around the World~

Helllloooo! OMG so fast August already! It's a new month again.haha. I've finally done all the registration, and collection of shirts and stuffs for the Standard Chartered Charity Run taking place next Sunday. Can't wait for next week^.^

On the night of my Minbong oppa's birthday, when I was still half asleep coz was taking a short nap, I received a phone call from Siang Yi. The two sisters were picking me up to go enjoy the night view at Jerudong beach with a cotton candy! Yea I know we always do this kind of random stuffs.hahaha. But shiok...that night we saw the moon clearly so we turned into werewolves~ah woooooooooooooo~~~lol.

On the morning of Xander's birthday, Pingie and I went to donate blood in uni. Pingie was the one who asked me to go with her, and since it's on Xander's birthday, I will donate coz of him.hehe. But my dear friend Pingie had a sad and embarassing moment there which I shall not say if not she'll kill me.ahahaha. There were surprisingly many people who came to donate blood, which is a very good thing^^ It was my first time donating blood and so was a bit nervous. It's only painful when they inject into my skin, but after that it's fine. I just lied there but after donating, I felt a bit dizzy so I had to lay down longer.

After that we went to "Consumer Fair Part 6" at BRIDEX hall in Jerudong. It's our first time to visit BRIDEX hall.haha. I was still a bit dizzy and got gas in my stomach, so I was resting for awhile in the nearest BRIDEX toilet, which was really clean.

Look who we met there too! Lina, Lala and Jody!hehe. We met them at the food section. Lucky got place to sit and eat. Pinky and the Brain so hungry already. We ate soto coz long time didn't eat already.Delicious~hehe. Those little peaches from Pakistan look soo yummy and sweet!

I 'persuaded' Pingie to go in with me to "Around the World in 60 Minutes". It's just $1 entrance fee with free Ice Lemon Tea and lucky draw ticket.Cool eh?hehe

We went to "France - Eiffel Tower", "Russia - St.Basil's Cathedral", and "USA - Statue of Liberty".

Here we went to "Egypt - Pyramids and camel".

Here we went to "India - Taj Mahal", "Singapore - Merlion&Esplanade", "USA - Hollywood", and "USA - Universal Studio".

Here we went  to "Australia - Opera House", "China - Great Walls", "Mexico - Mayan Temple", Pinky and the Brain at Universal Studio.

We went to "USA - Disneyland" and met our relative Mickey Mouse and a mime too!hehe. The other one I don't where's the place. Pingie doing Xander's "fox-sign" on his birthday!hehe.

We went to "UK - Telephone booth+Big Ben", and "Italy - Pisa(Leaning) Tower". I did "fox-sign" for Xander too!hehe. I was trying to an "Ice Lemon Tea" CF in front of BRIDEX.lol.
